Updated September 23, 2026

Sometimes you know exactly what you’re looking for: a performer you like, a familiar studio, or a scene you remember but can’t quite name. Other times, you just want to see what’s new. prdb brings those starting points together in one adult media database, with connected records for videos, actors, and sites.

You can browse in your browser, save favourites, and follow the connections from one discovery to the next. If you also keep a local collection, prdb can help compatible tools identify files and fill in missing information through its API.

The web app is free to explore. Create a free account, or explore the features first.

Start with something you already like

A favourite performer is a good place to begin. Search by name or alias, open their profile, and explore the scenes linked to them. You might find an earlier release you missed, another performer in the cast, or a site you haven’t explored before.

Those connections are what make prdb useful. A scene sits alongside its cast, release information, and the site it came from. You can follow whichever detail catches your interest, without starting a fresh search every time.

Prefer browsing by studio? The Sites directory lets you filter by network and sort by the latest release. It’s an easy way to check in on a familiar name or discover somewhere new to start looking.

Make your next visit more personal

When you find an actor or site you want to follow, save it to your favourites. Your dashboard uses those choices to bring together recent videos that match your interests, alongside an overview of new additions to the database.

For example, you could favourite a site you regularly browse, then return to your dashboard to see its recent releases. Add a few performers, and you have more ways to spot something relevant when you come back.

You can also keep a wanted list of scenes you’re looking for, so an interesting find doesn’t have to disappear into a forgotten browser tab.

Put a picture to a scene

Titles don’t always tell you enough. Preview images help you recognise a scene and decide whether you want to take a closer look at its record. In the video library, you can narrow your browsing to entries with preview images.

The community also contributes previews, including spritesheets: sets of still images from different points in a video. Compatible tools can use these to show a visual preview as you move along a timeline.

Coverage varies. Some records have more imagery and detail than others, and community previews are available where members have contributed them. prdb is a database for discovery and collection tools; an account doesn’t include full-length video streaming.

If you’d prefer to browse discreetly, the app’s SFW mode blurs imagery while leaving the interface visible. You can explore the main features on the homepage.

Give your collection better information

If you’ve ever opened a folder of files with unhelpful names, you’ll know how much work it can take to identify them. With a paid API plan, compatible collection tools can look up a file’s fingerprint in prdb and retrieve the scene information associated with a match.

That can help turn an unfamiliar filename into a recognisable entry with a title, cast, site, and available previews. The fingerprint is calculated locally, so the lookup doesn’t require uploading the video itself.

It depends on what the database knows: a lookup may return no match, or a known fingerprint that hasn’t yet been linked to a scene. It’s a useful way to reduce manual searching, with room for the collection to become more complete as people contribute.

Developers can also use the API to retrieve records in batches and keep tools up to date with changes. The API documentation covers the technical details when you’re ready to connect something.

Start free and see what you discover

You don’t need to choose a paid plan to get a feel for prdb. A free account lets you browse the web database and look up video and actor records. Registration asks for an email, password, and display name; no real name or payment details are required.

If you later want to connect compatible tools, paid plans provide API access with different usage limits. You can compare them on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions use Bitcoin through BTCPay, but you don’t need Bitcoin to create or use a free account.
